Featured Client:Safe2Tell

Safe2Tell was developed in response to recommendations of the Columbine Commission. It gives Colorado-based students (as well as parents, faculty and staff) an outlet for intervention and prevention of any violence or related act. Safe2Tell includes 1-877-542-SAFE, an anonymous toll free line answered live by The Colorado State Patrol’s communication center around the clock. As a result of these calls, law enforcement and school personnel have intervened in over 400 incidents. Outcomes include the prevention of 41 suicides, recovery of 54 weapons, response to 62 substance abuse calls and response to 19 threats of planned school attacks.
