Talking politics…

In late 2005, I launched RDM Communications. The firm ties my advocacy, media, fundraising and political experience into one package. After two university degrees (including a Master’s in Mass Communications) and some spectacular professional opportunities, my creative desires finally pushed me into the wonderful world of consulting and freelance.

Sure, I could fill this bio with lists of awards like the American Hospital Association’s Silver Touchstone, but most folks choose firms based on rapport, intellect, experience, capacity. (If you do want the list, however, let me know. I’ll send it to you.)

My writing, interviewing and creative skills have led to editorial board visits, interviews, articles, quotes, polling data, opinion pieces with the Wall Street Journal, Science, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Business Week, USA Today, Nature and numerous daily newspapers and broadcast media across the country. But that’s not what my services are about either.

As my tagline says, I turn strategy into action.

I did it for March of Dimes, the American Academy of Pediatrics and Research!America. I did it for the largest nursing home in Ohio and for The Children’s Hospital in Denver. Now I want to do it for you.

A short tour of the website will give a glimpse of the action-oriented results. I’m happy to chat with you about playing with kids and caring for elderly (advocacy and media relations), making money (fundraising and stewardship) and talking politics (grassroots campaigns and speechwriting). And don’t worry; I do plenty of work for other clients and causes too…

Thank you,

Ray Merenstein
Principal, RDM Communications
